CAPABILITIES

ZINC RACK
ABQC's operation includes three automatic Zinc Rack Lines, thus providing a tremendous amount of flexibility in meeting customer demand. ABQC offers yellow chromate, RoHS and ELV compliant clear chromate capable of exceeding 96 hours to white corrosion in salt spray tests, and clear and black chromates that meet the highest of appearance requirements.

ZINC BARREL
Zinc Barrel capabilities include RoHS and ELV compliant clear chromates, as well as black and yellow chromates. The company has one automatic zinc barrel line and one manual zinc barrel line that meet a wide array of customer specifications.

BAKE OVENS
The company operates 5 bake ovens for the purpose of relieving hydrogen embrittlement per customer specification. The ovens are monitored by a software program that archives plate to bake time, heat-up time, bake time and temperature. This system ensures that parts will not be passed through inspection unless the bake specification has been met.

ZINC & MANGANESE PHOSPHATING
ABQC is home to one of the largest phosphating departments in the Midwest. Zinc Phosphating and Manganese Phosphating (including Parco Lubrite) services are provided on four separate production lines that enable ABQC to meet virtually any phosphating specification. Whether your phosphated part requires rack or barrel, fine or heavy grain, zinc or manganese, dry to touch or heavy oil, ABQC has a process to meet your needs.

TIN RACK
ABQC's automated tin rack can accommodate parts up to 80" in length. The company processes a wide range of copper bus bar, tube & rod, as well as copper, brass and steel manufactured components to many bright acid tin specifications, and also accommodates parts requiring a pre-tin copper strike.

TIN BARREL
Bright Acid Tin Barrel parts are processed on ABQC's automated Napco Tin Barrel Line. Copper and Brass electrical contacts and other components including steel are plated to an assortment of bright acid tin specifications

BLACK OXIDE
ABQC operates a hot black oxide production line capable of processing just about any rack or barrel part to your requirements. Dry to touch and heavy oil are available as post black oxide applications.

CHROMATE CONVERSIONS
Also commonly referred to as Alodining or Irriditing, ABQC performs chromate conversions on zinc die casts and aluminum die casts and sheet on its automated Imperial and Lasalco production lines.

SILVER RACK & BARREL
ABQC's Napco Silver Rack and Barrel Line is completely automated and capable of silver plating brass and copper parts to arrangement of silver plating specifications.

COPPER BARREL
ABQC provides cyanide copper barrel plating on a manual barrel production line.

ZINC-NICKEL
This high corrosion resistance zinc alloy electroplate is provided on a manual barrel line. ABQC can meet a range of Nickel percentage requirements and offers yellow chromate passivation over the zinc-nickel layer.

WAX & OIL
Several waxes and oils, including RO-59 are applied to various plated and unplated substrates in the company's wax & oil department.

MECHANICAL FINISHING AND VIBRATORY DEBURRING
Deburring and finishing services are provided in ABQC's range of finishing equipment including vibratory bowls and tumblers that utilize various media in meeting our customers' specifications.
